What a shame that I haven't updated my blog in MONTHS. I guess I have less motivation since going private as I'm not sure any one's out there anymore. But I do need to be better at doing it for reasons of journaling too.
Christmas was GREAT!!! There is something so special about having a new baby in the house at Christmas time!

Our baby Cooper turned 9 in january! I can't believe he's 9! For his birthday he got to choose 2 friends and take them out to dinner and back to the house to watch movies and eat cake, I just can't do parties every year.

Coop is such a great kid if I do say so myself! We met with his teacher last week and she had nothing but wonderful things to say about him! He got wonderful grades and his teacher says he is very well behaved, very smart and extremely popular! He has been playing basketball for the last 2 months- 2 teams, 1 competition league and one Jr Jazz league. It keeps us very busy! And now Spring training for baseball starts. He practices twice a week with his competition baseball team and games start in April. We will be traveling all over the state for tournaments. I really do look forward to baseball season!
Little Miss Kylie has a big birthday coming up too! She will be 5 in March! Or will she be 15? Some days I wonder. Kylie had kind of a big week, she had a 10" braid cut off and donated it to locks of love! She tells everyone that she sent it to a little girl that is sick! So sweet. I can't believe how cute her hair is! I was planning on cutting my hair in a sassy bob too but keep chickening out! I wish I was as brave as her!

Kylie is also doing very well in school. She is the most social child! She goes to dance class every week and is doing very well! Her teacher wants her on the Comp team but I don't know if I'm ready for that! Seriously, what is with these kids and "competition!" She had a recital in December and did great! Especially considering she had just switched into that class 3 weeks prior to the recital & the other girls are 6 & 7! I was so proud of her I cried happy tears through the entire performance!
And Baby girl Breeze is 6 months old! OMG! I really can't believe how fast time goes by! She's kind of been a little stinker lately. She's getting to that age where she gets her feelings hurt if you walk by her or put her down. She LOVES to be held (my bad) and reminds of that every evening about 6:00 until bed time. Despite that she is still a great baby! She is rolling over and playing with toys- however, her favorite "toy" is the baby wipes package.

David and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary in January and I had a rather big birthday a few days ago. And again, I just can't believe how time flys!

Love the updates! I guess we are all busy, maybe that is why I don't see my neighbor two houses away. Hurry Spring come, so we can play outside again!
Kylie looks so grown up with her new hairdo! I have had mixed feelings about having short hair, but it was a good change for me. It's quite liberating, actually, but just make sure you're good and ready before you take the plunge! Your kids are so great. We need to get Cooper and Connor together more often. Connor really loves him.
